Our Commitment to Intellectual Property
valerianinfo.com respects the intellectual property rights of creators, authors, photographers, and publishers, and we expect our visitors and contributors to do the same. We take claims of copyright infringement seriously and respond to valid notices in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (“DMCA”), 17 U.S.C. Section 512.
This page explains how to report content you believe infringes your copyright, how we handle such reports, and how to respond if your content was removed by mistake.
What Is the DMCA?
The DMCA is a United States law that provides a process for copyright owners to request the removal of infringing material from websites. It also gives website owners protection from liability, provided they act promptly when they receive a proper notice. Although we operate independently, we follow DMCA procedures as a good practice for all copyright concerns, no matter where the claimant lives.
Our Content Standards
We aim to publish original content written in our own words. When we reference facts, ideas, or events, we try to paraphrase and, where appropriate, credit or link to sources. We do not intentionally copy copyrighted articles, images, or other works without permission or a lawful basis.
Despite our care, mistakes can happen. Images, text excerpts, or other materials may occasionally be used in ways that a copyright owner objects to. If that happens, we want to know, and we will deal with it quickly and respectfully.
Who Can File a Notice
A DMCA notice may be submitted by:
- The copyright owner of the work, or
- A person authorized to act on the owner’s behalf, such as an agent, publisher, or attorney.
Please do not file a claim unless you are the rights holder or are authorized to act for them.
How to Report Copyright Infringement
If you believe material on valerianinfo.com infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated contact at Owaixkh@gmail.com. To be effective, your notice must include all of the following:
- Your contact information: full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- Identification of the copyrighted work: a clear description of the original work you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are involved, you may provide a representative list.
- Identification of the infringing material: the exact URL(s) or location(s) on our Website where the material appears, with enough detail for us to find it quickly.
- A good-faith statement: a statement that you believe in good faith that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- An accuracy statement: a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
- Your signature: a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or the authorized representative.
Notices that do not contain these elements may not be processed. We may contact you to request missing information.
Before You File
Please consider whether the use might qualify as fair use, such as commentary, criticism, news reporting, education, or research. The DMCA requires copyright owners to consider fair use before sending a takedown notice. If you are unsure whether material is infringing, you may wish to seek legal advice.
You may also email us informally first. In many cases, a simple message with the URL and the issue allows us to fix the problem immediately, such as adding credit or removing an image.
What Happens After We Receive Your Notice
When we receive a complete and valid notice, we will generally:
- Review the notice to confirm it meets the legal requirements.
- Act promptly to remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
- Notify the content owner or site administrator, where applicable, that the material was removed and why.
- Keep records of the notice and our response.
We aim to respond within a reasonable time, typically within a few business days. Please understand that we may need additional time to verify complex claims.
Counter-Notification
If you believe your material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to Owaixkh@gmail.com. A valid counter-notice must include:
- Your full name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed because of mistake or misidentification.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the district where you live (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district where we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Restoration of Material
After receiving a valid counter-notice, we may forward a copy to the original complainant. If the complainant does not notify us within 10 to 14 business days that they have filed a court action to restrain the alleged infringement, we may restore the removed material. This timing follows the standard DMCA process.
Repeat Infringers
It is our policy to terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the access of users or contributors who are repeatedly found to be infringing the copyrights of others. This applies to anyone who submits content to our Website, such as comments or guest contributions.
Misrepresentation and Abuse
Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages, including court costs and attorneys’ fees. Please make sure your claim is accurate and made in good faith. We reserve the right to ignore notices that appear abusive, fraudulent, or harassing.
User-Submitted Content
If our Website allows comments or other user contributions, those users are responsible for the content they submit. We do not review every submission before it appears, but we will remove infringing material when we are made aware of it. By submitting content, users confirm that they have the right to share it.
Images and Third-Party Materials
We try to use images that are original, licensed, in the public domain, or used with permission. If you are the owner of an image on our Website and want it credited or removed, please send us the URL and proof of ownership. We will respond quickly.
Our Website may also link to or embed third-party content. We do not host that content, and the third party is responsible for it. Please contact the hosting platform directly for copyright issues involving embedded material.

We are not responsible for the copyright practices of external websites linked from our pages. Reporting copyright issues on those sites should be directed to their owners or hosts.
